Deià Village House is an ideal choice for friends or a family looking for a home away from home in Mallorca. The house is decorated in neutral shades, with pops of colour and attention to detail in the finishing touches. As you enter on the first floor you’ll find the spacious master double bedroom with four poster bed and en suite shower room, along with a guest WC and utility room. Head upstairs to find a bright and airy open plan living/dining and kitchen area complete with all the expected facilities; double doors open to a spacious outdoor terrace, which provide the perfect spot for al fresco dining with beautiful views of the sea and surrounding landscape.
On the ground floor there are 3 en suite bedrooms comprised of one twin and two double bedrooms, two of which open to the fabulous pool terrace perfect for a morning dip in the infinity pool. There is external access to another pretty double bedroom at the side of the property and a wine cellar completes this floor.
This village house is within easy reach of shops and restaurants in Deià and just 2km away from the small but very pretty cove of Cala Deià, one of the locations for TV series The Night Manager. Much of Deià’s appeal lies in its laid-back feel and picturesque surroundings, with some very impressive views of the blue sea and stunning mountains. Guests tend to opt for pleasurable eating and drinking experiences, with some enjoyable walks or hikes. There are a few interesting small boutiques, galleries and shops in the village, and plenty of places to eat and drink – including the Michelin-starred Es Racó d’Es Teix and Hotel La Residencia. We recommend strolling around, admiring the sympathetically restored old stone houses nestling in narrow alleys. Foodies will love the village’s little central store Es Forn, crammed to the rafters with local produce and gourmet treats. Deià ’s dramatic landscapes make it a rewarding place to go walking. Ranging from easy to more challenging, well-established hiking routes include Miramar monastery, and Sa Foradada, a picturesque peninsula with a spectacular lookout point.
